Dominique Becht is part of Renaissance Foundation Board since end 2025.

Since 2018, Dominique Becht has been Head of the Securities Department at the Abendrot Foundation, a Swiss collective pension foundation with a strong focus on sustainability. He is also an independent entrepreneur in the food sector and co-founder of Solomania GmbH.

Previously, Dominique Becht held senior management positions in asset management for more than twenty years. He began his career at Schweizerischer Bankverein in Basel, before serving as a portfolio manager at UBS Global Asset Management in Singapore and later as Chief Investment Officer Asia at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). In 2007, he founded bestideasgroup AG, an asset management company specialised in Asian equities.

Dominique Becht holds a PhD in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Basel.
